Benjamin Blackburn

Benjamin Blackburn was born ca.1738 in Winchester, Frederick Co. VA, the son of Benjamin and Mary Blackburn. He married Elizabeth (Nesbitt)ca. 1768. He died in Tuscaloosa County. Alabama on September. 24, 1834. He is buried on his farm in Tuscaloosa County. His grave site is not located.

During the Revolution, Benjamin Blackburn served as private in Captain Lockridge’s Co. under Colonel Andrew Lewis. He participated in Battle of
Pt. Pleasant, Virginia.
